Cottage

The Stázka Cottage has a history of more than a century. After the departure of her husband Franco to America in the 1920s, his wife Anna built it alone, with a small just born kid. The man never returned because he had started a new family across the Atlantic, but the cottage has nevertheless become the seat of many generations and the setting for interesting stories. If you would like to create another, just stay with us. The cottage is called Stázka and is named after our grandmother, who was the last to occupy it, and the builder of the cottage was her grandmother and she inherited the same determination from her. We liked our Stázka very much, so we named the cottage after her.

The cottage has a capacity of 6 people and is situated in a shared courtyard with the owners, so the accommodation is more for families with children, married or partnered couples, quiet groups of mates and friends. We have chickens and two cats on the property, but they will not bother you. We also grow a variety of vegetables, so if you’d like you can try that kind of farm life. As we live a stone’s throw away, we’re happy to advise and help you, whether it’s within your walking paths or if you have any problems. Otherwise we won’t bother you, don’t worry.
